OUTER HEBRIDES WILDLIFE FESTIVAL

About the Festival

Fàilte/ Welcome

The Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival 2025 will take place from

Saturday 21st to Saturday 28th of June. A Fringe Festival will run through to the end of July, broadening the opportunities for people to engage with the islands' special nature and wildlife.

The Outer Hebrides Wildlife Festival is an annual community-led festival coordinated by the Bumblebee Conservation Trust as part of Species on the Edge, a multi-partner nature conservation programme funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

The Festival is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible wildlife of the Outer Hebrides. A diverse programme of events allows residents and visitors alike to enjoy, learn about, connect with, and take action for nature across the islands.

The 2024 programme included guided walks, boat trips, water sports such as paddle boarding, surfing and snorkelling, nature writing workshops, art exhibitions, photography workshops, panel talks, and more! The 2025 festival programme will be announced in the run up to the festival. For an idea of what the programme may include, please explore the 2024 programme here.

As always, a massive thanks goes to all our fantastic partners, local businesses, volunteers and local communities who make the festival possible.
